Projects
Member Jerry Hess, W9KTP recently submitted the following project for those who would like to build a keyer and learn a little about the Aurdino single board computers.
This document details how to duplicate an Arduino based
electronic keyer that I developed in June 2014 since I wasn’t happy with a
commercial unit I was using. This unit has the following features.
- Memory buttons on top of the case to avoid slipping on the operating desk.
- The
memory is not lost when the power is turned off.
- A keyboard interface that permits keyboard CW and also a means to temporarily change the memory.
- And thumb screws to open the case instead of screws to replace the battery
